HERRIE is a small clothing company run by Herrie and Kyle in Montpelier, Vermont. We make very small quantities of sturdy, comfortable clothes from rare, unique, and otherwise special cloths. 

Herrie designs and makes clothes in a tiny, lovely workshop in town. She trained and worked as a traditional bespoke tailor for many years, and had a shop of her own in Nashville until it was destroyed by a tornado in 2020.

Kyle steers the ship.

We prefer to avoid large-scale, centralized systems wherever possible, and we favor humble, accessible equipment in our own production processes. Small is beautiful.

We’ll only be on the earth for a little while, then we’ll pass it all along to new people. We’re trying to work in a way that might leave things in good shape for the new people :)
